The new “RICH”

One of the predominate themes resounding from the protests in Wisconsin, Ohio, and soon in a town near you is that the only acceptable way to address the deficit of state budgets is to increase the taxes on the rich.  They may very well get exactly what they are asking for.  The public sector worker will be the new “rich” in this nation.  Who does not want a good “government job”?  As the private sector of the economy struggles, the public employee will be viewed as those who can afford to pay a little more.  Mom always said “be careful what you ask for”.

How many of the protesters marching in Wisconsin had openly supported fiscal responsibility?  How many had expressed concerns about our federal debt?  Current events clearly illustrate the new reality within this nation:  Iwill support the reduction of debt and the balancing of budgets as long as it is done with someone else’s money.
